Here be Dragons
My niece (she's 10) and I have spent a great deal of time this summer discussing dragons. Making up thier ecology, systematics, and behaviors. And of course we have been drawing them as well. I will have to get her permission to share her drawing, but, here are a few of my concepts.

Dragons are always fun. My favorite are still probably Den Beauvais'.
The real trick, I think, to making dragons work is keeping them from appearing to heavy and earth-bound (unless your goal is a more chthonian wyrm). I think the key is avoiding pyramid compositions, but I'm not entirely certain about that.
